The Revolution will be Fabulous!

"Designer" rifles, chainsaws and machine guns have been designed by Peter Gronquist for the collection The Revolution will be Fabulous which opened last night at the Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles.

Glamorising warfare isn't a new trick, gas masks are sometimes used as a stylish prop in shoots. But this, is taking it to a .. different/new level. I'm not really sure what to think of it all... I'm slightly perplexed. If anything, I'm intrigued to see it in context at the gallery, but that's impossible.

OctopusME! - hmm, maybe not.

OctopusME! is releasing a line of jewellery made up of real octopus tentacles cast in sterling silver and soldered onto the rest of the jewellery. According to trendhunter: "They have been tumble polished for shine and durability and then oxidized to bring out their detail." [TrendHunter]

Boob job in a bottle?

It's 100ml of a boob job, apparently.

Rodial 'boob job' works by 'blocking' the fat into the area where the product is applied, thus 'gradualling increasing' the bust size within 56 days giving an 'instant firming and lifting effect'.

At £125 per 100ml, it doesn't come cheap! Of course I'm very sceptical...looking forward to reading the reviews (BellaSugar makes some very interesting points) which I'm sure I'll come across shortly what with the product being SOLD OUT @ asos.com

Exclusively available in Selfridges from tomorrow, you can get the chance to have your limited edition bottle signed by Patricia Field herself on Friday 16th May (Ground floor - stationary: Selfridges, London).

Erm, yeah, OK...let's face it - if it weren't for the name (SATC extraordinaire P. Field)... i wouldn't care too much for these Diet Coke bottles. How does a pouting gold woman denote career, and lip-stick-applying purple figure connote love? I guess a coked-up-looking turquoise woman might represent one part of 'fashion'... and the red 'passion' i can only say must be a seriously FIERY, ANGRY passion!!

Nevertheless, collectable items indeed, you can't knock Patricia Field for trying out something new.

Finally, ASOS has updated.. it's been about a week since I saw the latest ASOS mag and demanded to see more of the new Luxe range...

Though not my usual kind of thing, (well embellishment only really works for matthew williamson and temperly, anything high street looks cheap wouldn't you say?).. I am drawn to this, especially after watching the catwalk. The photos don't say so much though, what do you think? :
