Agenda Inc. Overload

Until now, I skipped a few weekly emails from Agenda Inc. but today had a quick flick through and found out a thing or two to note:

- Fendi will be holding a fashion show on the Great Wall of China! :-o

- Ikea in Oslo, Norway is now allowing customers to sleep over free of charge as an extra service they now provide.

and

- Roberto Cavalli will be designing a collection for H&M to be sold from 5th November 2007.

I really need to get bang up to date with what else is going on in the (fashion) world!

Unveiling Talent

Been browsing the net for the past hour stumbling across some exciting talent, like graphic design house M/M Paris:

Both creative talents were located by Hint Mag or Iqons, either way both portals are brilliant at unveiling new and exciting talent in the fashion world. They make me feel so inspired and hungry to learn more about the fashion industry. I want to go behind the scenes of a styling shoot, and no, I don't expect it to be glamorous work but to see how such beautiful intriguing images are created would be incredible.

Another talent I stumbled across on IQONs:

Results for Yr. 2 of FMC

I averaged a 2:1 for the year..! (62.3% overall)

Here's the table of my feedback from one of three modules that made up my overall grade for second year:

I improved from my first module of second year but it worries me that my final decision to undertake the L'Oreal marketing/brand project for third year and Fashion Map may not give me the best results for third year if my best results were achieved in fashion communication........

So I hear the £1.8 billion asking price for New Look will not be met by the highest bidders, what will happen next??

Working in the store personally, it's business as usual but trading is slow and many stores have reported bad sales ... I think everyone can thank the weather for that. It truly is such a depressing summer so far. No sun, cool weather, i'm still having to wear a trench everyday to work! On the contrary, I could say that I also blame the weather for my twitching fingers that gave in from boredom and the attempt to bring some cheer to my day and surrendered to the calling of two Topshop purchases today (using the Topshop card!)

I'd say this month's Vogue has been one of the more readable and aren't they LOVING the Prada shoes and socks..!

I'm going to have to start scanning in my favourite spreads to share the joy!!

Still waiting to hear back from the possible work placement opportunity in September, fingers crossed!
