Perspex Obsession

Moving on from Vivienne Westwood Melissa bubblegum scented PVC shoes, I'm ready for perspex for Spring 2011.

Chloe has done a gorge version. Perspex heel and upper with suede toe cap. Contrast of textures and colours are on point. But for £425, you'd hope it was. As seen in Elle issue Feb 2011:

Alternatively, (which I think I'll go for), ASOS have done a nice interpretation but you know it's never quite as good as the real thing... "ASOS Party on Suede Peep Toe Perspex Heel Shoe", £65 features a nice solid perspex heel with a complete suede upper. The nude suede is a nice option for the tinted perspex which fades into a clear block. (Prefer to the navy and green colourways also available at asos).

After having a quick gander and google of 'perspex heel' i also came across the Topshop Unique versions for Spring 2011 which I am most definitely keeping an eye out for. Seen backstage at the shows via. handbag.com:

They look superbly delish. Ever so slightly more deadly than both Chloe and ASOS. A hell of a lot more fierce than the ASOS. I'll hold out for these.

To finish off, perhaps a touch overkill if accessorised with perspex shoes, but totally in love with the ASOS Premium perspex box clutch, £65.
